Különös házasság!

Hy all!

Van egy Albacomp notim intel i915 videokarival external monitor csatlakozóval, S-video kimenettel:)
Szeretném valahogy rávenni a Debian Testingemet, hogy 800*600-nál nagyobb, lehetőleg 16:9 es felbontásban küldjön ki jelet egy plazmaTV-nek valamelyik csatolón.
S-video: teljesen halott, semmi jel nem megy ki....
Extmon: kimegy, de csak 800*600 és 640*480 as felbontásban tudja.

Az iszonyatosan idegesítő tény, hogy a winfosnak ez semmilyen gondot nem okoz, 1280*800-ban látok mindent.
Főként filmek megtekintésénél lenne nagyon frankó (bár jelenleg az mplayer -aspect kapcsolójával sikerül áthidalni a problémát, de ez nem megoldás:)
915resolution fent van, saját kernelem van 2.6.21es, bele tudok nyúlni ha kell.

Bármilyen ötletnek örülnék. Előre is thx.

Más opció nincs felbontásra vonatkozólag éppen ezért nem is értem, hogy miként képes ezeken kívül más felbontást erőltetni.
Azért köszi.

modelineokat generáld le. hátha segít. Nekem mondjuk nem sikerült összehozni egy HD lcdtvt az albacomp notimmal, bár valószínű azért, mert ez via csipes...

EDID nem szivathat? LCD-knel szokott. Szerintem tiltsd le, hátha.

dpkg-reconfigure debconf

a szintet vedd le alacsonyra, majd:

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

menj rajta végig rendesen, a VertRefresh értéket told fel jócskán, nekem gyanús, hogy csak 60Hz-et nyom, szerintem nem látja rendesen, hogy mit kéne tudni a moncsinak. A DisplaySize opciót nem ismerem, még sose volt lapim, úgy tűnik, azt mondja, hogy valamilyen 8x5-ös az LCD natív felbontása, ez nem tudom kell-e, jó-e neked, ha a nagyobb VertRefresh érték nem segít, esetleg próbáld+ kikommentezni.

hol vannak ilyenkor azok akik az X-et dicsoitik, hogy milyen jo es tokeletesen alkalmas desktopra?

Az xf86-input-i810 drivered verziószáma micsoda?

2.1.1 a legfrissebb, és 2.0-tól nem kell modeline-okkal, xorg.conffal szarakodni (azóta intel-nek hívják a drivert), képes menet közben a rácsatlakoztatott eszközök felbontását lekérdezni és kimeneteket állítgatni. Azzal mennie kell. Ha azzal sem megy, akkor bug. -> mailto:xorg@lists.freedesktop.org

xorg-server-1.3 + xrandr-1.2 kell neki minimum. Ha nincs a disztribben, forrásból sem nehéz fordítani...

próbáld meg esetleg hogy az xorg.conf-ban kikommentezel mindent ami videókártyára vonatkozik, csak a driver "intel" maradjon bent. ha úgy is rossz a kimenet akkor biztos hogy bug. azért majd tégy egy próbát git-ből szerzett friss ropogós driverrel is.
