1024x768 a legnagyobb felbontás

Sziasztok, az alábbi kérdéssel fordulok hozzátok.

A mai nap folyamán Fedora 17-et írtam ki LiveUSB-re. Újraindítás kb. 10 másodpercenként villant egyet a monitorom (és neki a power lámpája). A felbontás 1024x768-nál följebb nem ment. Újraindítottam (immár USB nélkül), viszont az 1024x768-as felbontás megmaradt az eredeti rendszeren is, és nem tudom fölvenni 1920x1080-ra. Próbáltam megigazgatni a kábeleket, de nem hiszem, hogy kirántottam volna. Most Ubuntu 12.04-en vagyok, eddig semmi baja nem volt.

Szerintetek mi lehet a probléma/hogy javítom meg?

Elfelejtettem mondani, hogy a videokártyám az egy GeForce 9600GT, nvidia driver van fönn.

Ez mindenesetre gyanúsnak tűnik.

Amivel próbálkozhatsz: nvidia-xconfig-gal generáltatni xorg.conf-ot, illetve kézzel írni hsync-vsync értékeket.

Nekem is volt ez a bajom, így tudtam megkerülni.

Itt van pár modeline amivel megpróbálhatod a monitorod eredeti felbontásra bírni:

Én anno innen szedtem ki a szükséges adatokat, mert a monitor nem akarta átküldeni a dsub csatlakozón az EDID információkat. 3 éjszakám ment rá. De ez alapján kivontam hozzáadtam és még windows 7 alá is beállítottam egyedi frekvenciaként.

Épp ez a lényeg próbáld ki melyik 1920x1080-as modeline lenne jó neked és próbáld meg azt berakni. Amúgy D-Sub, DVI vagy esetleg DVI-VGA átalakíton megy ez át? Ha utóbbi, nézd meg hogy ha átrakod a másik portra akkor is csinálja-e, vagy másik átalakítóval próbáld meg.

DVI-VGA átalakító. Próbáltam már a másik lyukba dugni. Több átalakítóm szerintem nincs. Nekiesek a ModeLine-oknak

SZERK: Találtam a monitoromhoz való ModeLine-t (LG W2243S), még mindig semmi. Valahol valaki írta, hogy a gyári kábellel neki sikerült megoldania ugyanezt a problémát. Nekem az sem nyert.

Próbáltam simán az Option "useEDID" "False" beállítást is, azzal sem megy.
Most jutott még eszembe, hogy nem jutott eszembe, hogy melyik billentyű indítja az eszközválsztót, ezért boot előtt végignyomtam a F9-F12-t. Nem tudom, hogy ez mennyire releváns.

Esetleg próbáld meg törölni az Nvidia zárt meghajtóját , de a config fájlokkal együtt. Majd utána újra telepíteni. Ha az sem segít akor meg próbáld meg az Nvidia oldaláról leszedni a legújabb meghajtót majd azt telepíteni.

Amúgy egy olcsó KVM switch is tud ilyet előhozni.

De erősen érdekel a téma, mert aktuális probléma itthon is.

Természetesen az egyetlen maradék ubuntus gép csinálja. A többivel semmi baj.

Hát engem az bosszant, hogy gyak. semmi olyat nem csináltam, ami a problémát előidézhetné: leformáztam egy Pendrive-ot, bebootoltam róla, és ennyi. Azóta úgy értem magam, mintha a régi 15"-os Daewoo monitorom előtt ülnék. BTW, a 3D gyorsítás azért még megy :')

Voltak olyan monitorok (CRT-knél), amik eltároltak bizonyos adatokat és felhasználták újrainduláskor (pl. az X-Y eltolást felbontásfüggően).

Nekem nagyon úgy tűnik, mintha a monitor viselkedne másképpen (abból, hogy az Ubuntuhoz nem nyúltál és az is rossz).

Szerintem próbálj meg a monitorral is játszani egy keveset. Ha ez sem segít, indíts el egy Windows-t, hátha az helyrepofozza.

Persze Identifier -nek barmit megadhatsz, de érdemes tartózkodni a szóközöktől.
A modline sem biztos hogy jó, neten is vannak modline generátorok próbálgasd.
