Az AMD/ATI kiadta a legújabb bináris driver-ét Linux-ra. Mit javítottak:

  • A black screen is no longer observed on some hardware when switching to the console or leaving the X window system when a Vesa framebuffer console driver is used. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28558
  • Connecting a component Video display device launching X-Server no longer results in X-Server failing to start and the display device displaying a black screen. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28846
  • The DRI no longer fails to initialize in the second server generation. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28847
  • Pressing the identify displays function no longer results in display device 1 and 2 being incorrectly identified. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28848
  • A Floating Point Exception error no longer occurs when launching amdcccle. Further details can be found in topic number 737-28849

amdcccle-t hogy kell elindítani/mi kell hozzá?

beírom terminálba, aztán nem csinál semmit. ctrl+c

Nekem olyan bugom van az ati driverekkel, hogy az openGL alkalmazasok utolso kepkockaja "belesul" a VGA memoriajaba, vagy nem tudom hova. Lenyeg, ha pl futtatom a glxgearset, bezarom, majd inditok egy mas fele 3D-s alkalmazast, akkor az elso kep ami megjelenik az a glxgears utolso kepkockaja :S
Arrol ne is beszeljunk, hogy mennnire szaggat minden opengl alkalmazas :S
Egyebkent Radeon 9600-asom van, aminek tokeletessen kellene mukodnie, de hat megsem...
A legosibb driverektol, a legfrissebbig mindent kiprobaltam... Ezt mar nem fogom, ugysem segit, mellesleg jovoheten meglesz az nVidia GF 8600-as kartyam:) Az atit meg kettetorom mint egy kekszet!!!

Nekem a suspend nem megy vele...ezzel se... Soha többet atit :(

Viszont rájöttek a fejlesztők, hogy mit kell vele csinálni, hogy 7.2-es xorgon ne hasaljon el a telepítő :-) Most már rájön, hogy az 7.1 vagy newer :-D Nem tudom, miért mondja mindenki, hogy nem fejlődik a driver :-)
